The Lalu has always demand the best and is always striving to enhance the work efficiency of their team. Email is an important business tool for the hotel.
In the summer of 2015 The Lalu adopted hiBox Email Box and has since then increased email management efficiency through the effective spam blocking and powerful virus scanning functions provided by hiBox.
The Lalu is located in the mountains and still heavily relient on email to conduct business. The effectiveness of hiBox is especially apparent in the processing work that takes place after a customer books a room.
Termination of spam
Before switching to hiBox, Mr. Chuang noticed that each employee would spend about five to ten minutes filtering through spam emails. The Lalu has about one hundred operating computers, so more than 1,000 minutes were spent on filtering spam. That amount the equivalent of sixteen work hours, which is equal to wasting two man hours. Converted to the monthly wage of two employees, that is about NT$70,000 to NT$80,000 a month and extra millions of expenditure a year.
Before using hiBox, large quantity of spam took up bandwidth, resulted in slow Internet speed, customer data congestion, and increased server load.
After the hotel implemented hiBox, the dual-filtration function has effectively blocked spam emails.
Mr. Chuang stated that "The web pages of HiNet are always simple and clean, and the management interface is very friendly. The service's setup time is only five minutes, which meets the time management demands of corporations."
When Mr. Chuang is on a business trip or a vacation, he will always use the hiBox auto-reply function, so when an email is sent to him during his absence from the office, the sender will receive an automated reply to explain that he is currently unavailable and indicate the time he will return to office. This function enables the customers to understand the situation and feel confident that their needs will be met.
Conducting official business through technology
Mr. Chuang is also a master at using HiNet and mobile office. Having five HiNet mobile phone numbers, he can use mobile phones to receive faxes, email, and access the Internet. When Mr. Chuang is not in the office but needs to attend to urgent matters, he can read faxes on his mobile phone and wait until his is back to the office to connect his phone to a computer to save the faxed documents or print them out using the fax machine.
He says that "HiNet has the most complete wireless coverage; only HiNet can receive its signal no matter where you go."
